Graduate Programme 2020
Since we launched the Petrofac Graduate Development Programme in 2004, we have employed more than 1,500 graduates, many of whom are still with us and are part of our talent pipeline.
In 2019, representatives of 14 different nations joined the programme, nearly half of them female graduates.

What does it take to become a Petrofac graduate?
The key attributes we look for in our graduates include analytical ability, execution (drive, speed, passion), leadership orientation, and strong decision-making.

If you graduated in 2018 or earlier, or have more than two years of experience, please visit our career site and search for any available roles.
Petrofac takes pride in hands-on involvement in projects and timely and responsive delivery for its clients, and site/location experience is essential. Willingness to travel and spend time on-site is a must.
What support will you get?
Our graduates start their journey in a global induction programme, where they get to interact with our senior leaders, programme coordinators, and other graduates from different locations. In 2019, our two-week induction programme took place in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, and at Takatuf Petrofac Oman, our leading technical centre of excellence located in Muscat, Oman. Graduates are then introduced to our core disciplines on a local technical programme and following that they start their rotations which provide exposure to core areas and business functions. They are assigned mentors and support is provided every step of the way.

Petrofac is a service provider to the oil and gas production and processing industry. Our teams design, build, operate and maintain oil and gas facilities and train personnel. With a 38-year track record, we have grown significantly to become a FTSE 250 company with a reputation for commitment, delivery and operational excellence.
In recent years, Petrofac has been diversifying its footprint in the renewable energy industry by winning a number of offshore wind contracts. Our achievements include the completion of work on the BorWin3 offshore wind farm grid connection, one of the largest offshore project platforms constructed.
